AISLINN MILES / YOGA TEACHER
After Australia's first lockdown, Melbourne dweller Shannon Syme couldn't imagine going into a second one.

Shannon packed up her art supplies and made it out just before borders closed, to take refuge in the friendly and sunny neighborhood of East Corrimal NSW.
Just before Shannon returned home upon the great news that Melbourne would end its 111-day lockdown, we got the chance to sit down and talk with the vibrant artist who creates works that resemble a kaleidoscope of Shannon's mind.

We talked all things creativity and the struggles and tribulations of isolation and being a first year Victorian College of Arts student.
